Aspengrove Children's Summer Camps
Our Children's Summer Camps continue the tradition started in 1990 with its popular format of horses, horses, horses! With an emphasis on top-quality instruction in english riding and horsemanship, our Camp Program continues to be a popular choice for children of all riding abilities, rank beginner to elite. Camps fill early in the year, so please register soon to avoid disappointment.
All campers will receive two, one-hour riding lessons each day along with other horse-related instructional sessions. An average of six hours a day is spent in a structured learning environment. Jump to our Daily Activities Page to get more detail.
Periodic evaluations are made so that each student has the opportunity to advance as their ability increases. We encourage campers to stay for more than one session, as progress tends to compound with each successive week.
Safety cannot be stressed enough and is taught from the moment each camper arrives.
Our highly structured program provides excellent training by certified instructors for those just learning to ride, while teaching the finer points of equitation and jumping to the experienced rider.
Time is allowed for students to enjoy other activities both indoors and out. Despite the structure in our day, campers are given free time to enjoy the simple pleasures of spending time in our beautiful environment with new friends both human and equine.
Evenings include: Treasure hunts, camp fires, volleyball tournaments, crafts, talent nights, karaoke, games of capture-the-flag and soccer matches, to name just a few of the planned events and activities campers will enjoy throughout the week.
